Making Psychoanalytic training in USA more affordable

For supervising analysts: Would you consider offering supervision to ONE candidate at a fee the candidate can afford?

National surveys conducted in USA (2012, 2022) reveal that the number one hurdle to pursue psychoanalytic training is the financial cost involved. The costliest portion of psychoanalytic training is usually the training analysis, followed by the fee paid to your supervisors for your control cases.
Consider joining the community of supervising analysts in USA who have joined the ancient tradition of paying-it-forward. This does NOT mean you are making any promises or commitments; it merely means you are open to the idea of equity-based supervision.

National surveys conducted in USA (2012, 2022) reveal that the number one hurdle to pursue psychoanalytic training is the financial cost involved. The costliest portion of psychoanalytic training is usually the training analysis. We believe that this sophisticated craft could face potential extinction unless the current generation of training analysts steps up in unprecedented ways to help the next generation.

HOW IT WORKS
-
We collect your generous donations.
-
Our partners approach us with their request. (e.g., Keisha needs $2562 for 1 year of tuition for didactics, Mark needs $1200 to make supervision a possibility, Miguel needs $1800 to help bridge costs of training analysis that their insurance won't cover, and so on and so forth.)
-
Our partnership panel reviews the request.
-
We help out our partners the best we can.
-
One day, our partners pay it forward.
